While this Blackfire Blossom Queen was still in its infant, it was still a Triple-gene mutated plant therefore the temperature of its flame is still high enough to turn sand into glass.
Naturally, the physique of a titan shouldn't have been able to withstand such high temperature especially one with only a single super-gene.
