The drop of blood began to rotate, spinning with a growing centrifugal force that drew the scattered remnants of his body inward. Fragments of flesh, bone, and spirit converged, liquefying under the pull until all that remained was a massive sphere of glowing red plasma, filled with life force and soul essence.
Moments later, its surface began to harden, crystallizing into a scarlet cocoon.
