Returning to Sandalwood Garden, Nathan Bolton headed straight into the kitchen.
In the past, Belle was the one who always handled the medicine preparation. But now that both of them needed to take it, he thought it was too much for his wife to do alone, so he took over the task.

Lorraine Hughes went upstairs to change out of her gown, remove makeup, and shower.
When she came back downstairs, Nathan Bolton had already finished preparing the medicine and was keeping it warm for her.
"Wifey, time to drink your medicine."
"Okay."
This felt like a little toast!
Just as the medicine reached her lips, he stopped her.
"How about... not drinking it?"
"Are you nuts?" The medicine was already prepared, and now he doesn't want her to drink it?
Nathan Bolton took her bowl away and said seriously, "Don't drink it, it's too bitter."
Lorraine Hughes countered, "Don't want kids anymore?"
"I don't want you to suffer."
