Zhan Hanjue's face darkened, his gaze turning icy as he issued a warning to Carl in a low voice, "Mr. Carl, watch your words."
Carl, however, smiled and said, "I invested in this project because of her. Mr. Zhan asked me, and of course, I'm telling the truth. There's nothing to hide."
Ye Ningwan stopped Zhan Hanjue, who was about to lose his temper, and asked Carl, "Do we know each other?"
Carl looked at her and sighed, "It seems you really don't remember me."
"Do we really know each other?" Ye Ningwan frowned, but she still couldn't recall where she had seen him, so she said, "Could you give me a hint on where we met? Or, did I save you?"
Being willing to invest in a project that isn't highly regarded, it's likely out of gratitude!
But she had healed many people and really couldn't remember saving him.
"Sister, do you really not remember me?" Carl asked sorrowfully.
Sister?
Ye Ningwan frowned, quickly turning to look at Zhan Hanjue.
