Vincent took a step forward, as if putting something back into his pocket, and asked softly:
"It's okay now."
Charlotte Thompson shook her head, "By the way, can I arrange to be discharged tomorrow?"
Charlotte's words made Vincent pause while checking the machine, and he turned his gaze to Charlotte's face.
"You want to be discharged tomorrow?"
Vincent's voice was not loud, but it carried a tone of questioning.
Charlotte did not speak, but her eyes had already answered Vincent's question.
"Your body has almost recovered, so you can be discharged tomorrow, but after going home, you still need to pay attention to recuperating well."
Vincent gave Charlotte a faint smile, then, as if performing a trick, he pulled out a candy from his pocket and handed it to Olivia Thompson.
However, Olivia did not take the candy. She just held Charlotte, shaking her head at Vincent.
"Thank you, Uncle Vincent."
