Charlotte originally wanted to stand up, but Annie quickly stepped forward, pressed her shoulder, and made her sit back down on the chair.
"So beautiful."
Annie gazed at Charlotte in the mirror, softly admiring her.
When her words reached Charlotte's ears, Charlotte looked up at her.
Although Annie's face was already made up, Charlotte could still catch a hint of fatigue and weariness in her eyes.
Coupled with the fact that she hadn't been able to contact Annie, Charlotte couldn't help but furrow her brow with concern.
She was just about to ask something, but Annie had already noticed this and gently tapped her cheek.
"I say, Miss Thompson, such a wonderful day, why are you still frowning? Could it be... there's something you're dissatisfied with?"
Charlotte pressed her lips together, silently sighing in her heart.
