"Are you guys hiding something?"
Upon hearing Charlotte Thompson's inquiry, the children looked at each other and then, as if on cue, revealed the things hidden behind their backs.
Charlotte Thompson squinted and saw they were various packaged desserts.
"What is this...?"
Charlotte looked at the children puzzled, unable to guess the meaning behind their actions for a moment.
"Mommy, mommy, Great-grandma taught us how to make desserts, so we thought we'd let Mommy try them."
While saying this, Olivia Thompson placed the small bag she was holding in front of Charlotte Thompson, which was even tied with a very pretty butterfly.
With Olivia taking the lead, the other children followed suit and handed over their packaged treats, quickly piling them up on Charlotte Thompson's table.
"Mommy, try it quickly!"
Hank Thompson looked at Charlotte Thompson with great anticipation and quietly pushed his share towards her, "This is the first time I've made something like this."
