Charlotte Thompson no longer wanted to stay here.
Just as she was about to speak up and find an excuse to leave, the man in front of her continued to speak:
"Sorry, I shouldn't have brought up these matters with Miss Thompson."
Leon Battleson shook his head a bit helplessly. Whether it was Charlotte's illusion or not, she felt as if Leon Battleson's face had grown paler.
"Mr. Battleson, I think matters of collaboration between brands should be discussed at a later time by your company sending someone to Riley Group. I have other matters and need to leave first."
With that, Charlotte stood up from her seat. No matter what, she felt it was better to leave first.
Faced with Charlotte's reaction, Leon Battleson only slightly lifted his eyes.
Then he quietly responded with a sound and stood up from his chair, clearly intending to escort Charlotte out of the restaurant.
But as Leon Battleson took just one step forward, his once tall stature suddenly began to sway slightly.
