Charlotte asked earnestly, "What in the world happened? Each of you tell me one by one."
"Mummy, by sending me and big brother back to the Ross Family, does that mean you don't want us anymore?"
Chad, crying in Jonathan's arms, had calmed down at this point and spoke with a trembling voice.
Seeing this, Jonathan wiped away his tears very tenderly.
"Hasn't Mummy told you? Bringing you back to the Ross Family to be registered in their family records, how could you say that Mummy doesn't want you?"
"Doesn't that mean Mummy is going to leave us with the Ross Family?"
Jack wanted to rub his eyes, but James held his hand and wiped his tears with a handkerchief instead.
"So you think that after Mummy sends you to the Ross Family, she will just leave you there, and from then on, you'll have to change your names to Ross Jack and Ross Chad?"
