"I'm really sorry for being late."
After dealing with the media outside, Adam Ross looked at Charlotte Thompson with an added touch of guilt in his eyes.
"I didn't expect there to be so many media and paparazzi camped outside; had I known, I should have come out earlier to meet you."
"It's alright, it just scared the kids a bit," Charlotte shook her head and looked down at Chad Thompson, who was tugging at the corner of her clothes.
Jack Thompson also peeked out quietly from behind Charlotte, looking curiously around before saying to Charlotte, "Mommy, are those people gone?"
"Jack and Chad, don't be afraid, it's safe now." Charlotte nodded to the two little ones.
Only then did Jack breathe a sigh of relief, patting his chest, "I was really startled when those people suddenly ran over."
Then he looked up at Adam Ross and sweetly called him daddy.
