As Yan Xing sat behind his own desk, Hibel pushed the door open and walked in.
She had changed a lot; recent events had made her even more mature.
Yan Xing gestured to her and said, "Please sit... I thought you would stay in Nuta City for a while, but I didn't expect you to come back so soon. You could actually take some time off. I think there must be many things within the Theodore family that need your attention."
Hibel didn't speak, but kept fiddling with the ring on her finger.
Chui Chui brought over two cups of tea and set them in front of Yan Xing and Hibel.
Seeing Chui Chui, Hibel seemed to find a topic to ease the atmosphere.
"It's really surprising. I buried your body in Nuta City, and now I see you again here. Is death something different for you and for us?"
