My personal office in the house was a place of quiet and peace, somewhere that I had turned into a sanctuary of sorts away from all of the potential chaos that was always walking around waiting to do... something.
I wasn't at all ashamed to admit that I wanted it to remain that way, that I was hoping for this small, cozy room to remain 'untouched' by my three wives in the way that they tended to know how to touch, yet obviously that was an impossibility.
When the door opened quietly and shut without making too much sound, I held back a sigh and just looked up from the bits and pieces of paperwork that I had been mulling over for the last dozen or so minutes, finding my mate standing opposite me with a grin.
"What's so amusing, Anput?"
