Parking the ATV on a flat hillside, Ye Wan stood up and hopped out of the driver's seat, "Ladies and folks, we've arrived at our destination."
Tossed about all the way here, my back is sore from sitting.
Sister Ling and her group stood up and got out of the car, stretching and strolling around to explore.
This was a mountain that hadn't been much developed.
At first glance, it was very pristine.
The lush trees blocked the scorching sun at noon so tightly that only dappled light leaked through the gaps in the leaves, casting speckled, colorful spots on the earthen ground.
Now and then, a breeze would come, and all I could smell was the fragrance of flowers.
Ye Wan sniffed her nose, "Wild apples, and... wild mushrooms."
I couldn't help but recall He Sichen's phrase "Red caps, white stems, eat them and then lie flat on our backs." Ye Wan patted He Sichen on the shoulder, "Shall we go pick some mushrooms?"
Mid-shake of his head, he switched to nodding, He Sichen smiled, "Sure!"
