Chapter 2
Guvo-Welcome back to school class now I know it's only been a week but are other students have already gotten past this stage so anyone who has yet to use any mana in your wand will now be dropped.
The class starts to freak out saying "I'm royal you can't do that" "school can't kick us out just because of something like this" or things on the line of that.
Guvo- I assure you just because you're royal doesn't mean you're good at magic it just means you've been born with it.
Merlin- uhh sir I have yet to use magic on my wand. Merlin says nervously
Guvo- oh but you have you just didn't notice when you did but one of the boys in our class did and so did I it was very impressive.
Merlin- Really?
Shaow- who noticed it I didn't see any mama come from his wand but I'm glad I get to stay with my buddy.
Guvo- it was that boy there (he points) his name is Mercy Cassius he's one of the young wizards to pass.
Mercy was about 5,10 with unreal muscle definition as well as dark brown hair and sharp eyes he was one that didn't laugh at Merlin.
Merlin- I'm gonna go say hello to him.
Shaow-uhh sure Merlin but is that really a good idea? He's freaking terrifying.
Merlin took his hand out to shake Mercy's hand
Merlin- Hey I'm Merlin moon but you can just call me Merlin.
Mercy- I know of you and your name
Mercy grabs Merlin's hand with good grip
Mercy- It's nice that I get to meat such a talent as yourself.
Merlin- Talent? I have yet to do anything impressive.
Mercy- oh but you did a blast from your mana destroyed an asteroid the size of a castle much like the size of this school. It may be something you're unable to control at the moment but your mana is very powerful. I want to let you know something Merlin.
Merlin- yeah?
Mercy- I won't let you become stronger than me. We are friends got it. but I also view you as a rival after what I seen yesterday you're beyond any of the people in this class except me.
Merlin- I understand what you mean Mercy but now that I have this information I don't want to just be at the top of this class. I want to be at the very top of this school. You can be my rival and push me to get stronger but if you are behind for even a single second I'll leave you in the dust.
Mercy- ha I get it then may the best be the victor
Shaow- whoah did I miss something? It sounded like you've known each other for years.
Merlin- No but we're rivals now
Shaow- Just like THAAAATTTT
Merlin- it's a little more complex than that but that's basically the jist
Guvo- It seens only 6 people passed everyone else has been kicked out. Let's see here so Merlin,Shaow,Mercy,Kubo,Dexter and Muriel
Dexter- were really the only ones to pass?
Kubo- looks like it and look the privileged little brat is here too.
Shaow- stop talking about my friend that way you lame excuse for a witch
Kubo- I'll show you a lame excuse for a witch
Mercy- break it up
Kubo- oh o oh k sir. This guys beyond scary
Shaow- yeah I'm not fighting if Mercy here is gonna intervene he's way to scary.
Kubo- fine then I challenge you to a duel
Shaow- I accept
Guvo- really just accepted without hesitation. Whatever let's go outside and get this duel over with.
Merlin- what? You're just going to let it happen?
Guvo- it's the rules if one declares a duel and the other accepts we have to let them duel. The rules of the duel are simple you aren't allowed to use cryptic magic revail magic or psyfer magic anything else goes.
Merlin- what's the difference between the 3?
Guvo- Cryptic magic consists of curses and demonic power. Revail magic is magic that heals or revives a person. And psyfer magic is angelic like magic it's only banned because of fallen Angel magic not because of Angel magic although you can't use ether because you aren't able to tell the difference between the two unless you see how much more destructive fallen Angel magic is.
Merlin- I see
Mercy- my mother was one who used psyfer magic.
Guvo- oh really she's was an Angel?
Mercy- no she wasn't an Angel nor a fallen Angel but she had eaten the corpse of a living fallen Angel to injured to move or fly away from falling out of the sky.
Guvo- oh my what a terrifying woman she must've been
Mercy- why do you say "must've" now?
Guvo- because those who had eaten fallen angels are cursed and clean wiped out of this existence.
Mercy- I'm glad that she was
Merlin- jeez that's dark
Guvo- all right are we ready for the duel?
Shaow- yes I don't need my wand for this battle the magic I've been practicing should be enough.
Kubo- neither do I
Guvo- Than let the battle commence.
Shaow falls into his shadow
Kubo- what the hell? He can control his magic to this level?
Shaow appears underneath her almost within seconds sending a kick incased in his mana upwards kicking her face with it.
She goes flying tumbling afterwards.
Kubo- damn I see now he's inside his shadow it's like a small pocket dimension so if I'm able to damage the mana infused shadow he should come out or I'll be able to damage him from the inside.
Shaow- I bet you're thinking I can be damaged inside this or that you could make me come out.
Kubo- shit
Shaow- well that would be convenient wouldn't it but too bad it's impossible to do so my strength comes from more than just being born of royal blood. It comes from training my mana every day.
Kubo- lightning rain
Hundreds of bolts of lightning start raining down from a cloud she's riding on onto the shadow.
Shaow- well it would be smart to deal with any normal wizard that way.
Kubo notices the shadow is gone.
Kubo- no way
Shaow- IM NO NORMAL WIZARD AND NETHER IS MERLINNNN!!!
Guvo- we'll played Shaow.
Merlin- whoah such cool magic I can see it now the color of there mana. Kubos is yellow. Shaows is a dark grey. Mercy's is red. Mr Guvos is orange. Dexters is white. That girl oh right her names Muriel hers is a dark purple. And mines is.. what the? My mana it looks like outer space like thousands of stars and a purple blue and black Color mixture exactly how space looks. Wierd.
Shaow punches Kubo with a mana infused blow kicking her out cold.
Guvo- so she took a kick to the face but not a punch? Well Shaow is the winner. Very nice job I'll have some witches pick her up and bring her to the nursing quarters.
Shaow- I won nice. It was all for you Merlin.
Merlin- I don't want people to fight over me but I do appreciate you helping me out.
Dexter- Hey Merlin I'm Dexter I thought you seemed pretty cool and wanted to be friends I don't mind if you aren't royal like the rest of us.
Merlin- oh of course I'll be friends with you Dexter.
Muriel- Merlin is your name?
Merlin- whoah I didn't think you could talk.
Muriel- I'm not very social but sense there's less people here and you all seem to be friends now can I join Merlin?
Shaow- WHO MADE HIM THE BOSS
Mercy- I agree it should be me
Dexter- well I hate to toot my own horn but-
Guvo- guys that's enough Merlin you decide if you want to be friends with people it's up to you.
Merlin- I accept your friendship Muriel
Muriel- Thank you so much
Gives Merlin a hug
A few hours later
Merlin- phew I'm finally home I had a long day mom. Mom?
Merlin walks into the living room
Merlin- D D DAD?!!
