Riana drew in a sharp breath. "Audia, I—"
"Riana," Alvin cut her off, his voice firm, but Audia caught the subtle warning tone within it. "Please wait outside for a moment."
Riana nodded quickly, almost stumbling as she walked out of the room, avoiding Audia's gaze.
Once the door closed, Alvin turned to Audia. "What happened? You look terrified."
"Clarissa," Audia whispered, barely able to utter the name. "I met Clarissa today."
Alvin's face darkened. "What did she say? What did she do to you?"
"She showed me something," Audia continued, her eyes blazing. "Photos. You and Riana. You holding her hand."
Alvin sighed, running his hands over his face. "Didi, it's not what you think—"
"Then she said the worst thing wasn't that you two were having an affair!" Audia cut him off, her voice rising, breaking with pent-up emotion. "She said Riana has something that could destroy you! She said today was the deadline! What's happening here, Alvin? What are you hiding from me?"
