Lord Kieran and the Elf King, who had immediately rushed to see who had attacked the palace, were surprised to see Lady Selene fighting the Unseelie Fae King, who they hadn't seen since King Zephyr's succession to the Unseelie throne. Lady Selene was obviously at a disadvantage, as none of her attacks were able to hurt or injure the Unseelie King.
"Is that all you can do?" He chuckled. "You disappoint me, Elf Priestess."
He then surged downward and in a blink of an eye, King Zephyr was already in front of Lady Selene, his sharp claw embedded in her side.
It took a moment before Lady Selene what just happened. It wasn't until she heard the resounding scream of her brother did she realize that her strength was leaving her. She looked at King Zephyr's face and noticed the spear of blood in his face up close.
"No!!!"
When Lady Selene's body hit the ground, the Elf King rushed to her while Lord Kieran rushed in, forcing the Unseelie King away from the siblings.
