Tessa Thompson shook her head and then nodded, not quite sure herself.
To say he's not fierce, nobody in the class dares to provoke Arnold Simmons, sometimes his glance alone is more effective than the teacher's.

For the next few classes, the seat behind Hannah remained empty; Arnold Simmons did not return. It seemed like everyone, even the subject teachers, treated his absence as though he wasn't there.
