I couldn't breathe, move, hear, feel, or see anything but her. I was frozen in place and the look of shock on her face. Fuck, she knows I'm not human. She isn't leaving though...this might be good. My legs wanted to move but I fought it for a moment, what if she rejected me.... I steeled my resolve and went to her and that was so stupid! Her scent of cherries... no, black cherries...my favorite. I loved the cherry orchard back home.
I resisted the urge to touch her, but I touched her shoulder confirming it all when the spark took us both by surprise.
Mina was my soulmate.
I cupped her face with my hand smiling at her and just hoping she wouldn't reject me. All of a sudden, she was on me. YES! That was all the confirmation I needed. I hoisted her up easily and started walking towards the closest surface I could pin her at so I could get my hands free and make her scream my name. It all went by in a blur. Touching, rubbing, kissing, and she was in only a towel!
