"Calm down, Sylphy, it's okay," Alice said. "You don't need to worry. They shouldn't grow into monstrous forms if they eat these Soul Orbs. They aren't complete souls, at least not fully."
"R-Really? Well, okay, you can have a couple," I offered Red two Soul Orbs. His main body devoured them, while the other bodies licked their jaws as if they had tasted them too.
Then Red gained a glowing aura of soul essence and seemed incredibly happy. He jumped around like crazy. Honestly, he made me chuckle a little—he was the cutest true demon.
With seven left, I wondered whether to absorb them or save them. "I wonder if I should just absorb them or… can I use them for something else?"
