"He said it was the only way to show you that he loved you even to the end," Oshita said and Rania slumped on her bed. This was just too much for her to bear.
"He loved me? What a sick joke. He sure did know how to prove it," Rania said angrily as she tried to think.
She could feel like everything was coming to a standstill and she knew that it was just a matter of minutes before her mate and her sister made their way back here. They would question what the hell had happened to her and she didn't have the time to explain.
So begrudgingly she stood up and looked towards the balcony, like it was a sign that she was doing well. She had managed to get to this point and he couldn't let her father be the reason she flailed back.
She knew Oshita wouldn't ever try to hurt her.
She knew that her best friend was always going to be on her side regardless. She was aware that nothing would ever change their bond. But what of everything had taken a pause? Would it make it better?
