Further away in the cave, Huang San was making progress. After repeated clashes, vines from his nature armor managed to creep into the Beta Puppet on several more occasions. Each time, the vines caused more damage to the puppet's internal circuitry.
By now, the Beta Puppet's movement had become increasingly sluggish. It had a problem keeping up with Huang San. Furthermore, the six dark chakrams had stopped harassing him for a while now. All that stood in his way was the woman who now turned into a multi-tailed fox and the firebird.
"Begone, you beast…!!" Huang San exclaimed.
His longsword generated multiple sharp lights that pierced the Great Sun Hawk. Its mobility was greatly hampered inside this cave. It couldn't maneuver by flying. It mostly relied on ranged attacks to assault Huang San. With the Beta Puppet incapacitated, Huang San could get close. Its fire couldn't stop him.
