When the shopkeeper saw the situation, he knew there might be trouble. Most of the time, business ran smoothly, but encounters with difficult customers like these were always a challenge.
The shopkeeper smiled awkwardly and explained the situation truthfully.
The steward of the new group looked Lu Min's steward up and down with a sneer and said haughtily, "I was wondering who it was. So it's you lot! Since this inn only has one courtyard left, you should give it up for us!"
Lu Min's steward felt embarrassed and angry but managed to keep his composure. He said calmly, "I can't make that decision. I'll ask our Old Master."
The other steward's expression grew more contemptuous. "Heh, then hurry up and go!"
Lu Min's steward turned around and left.
The shopkeeper and the waiters stood there, dumbfounded.
After a while, Lu Min's steward returned and said politely, "If you want the courtyard, you can have it. Our Old Master has decided to move to another place."
