A Few days had passed since the first night that Ryujin had signed in. While he continued circulating his breathing technique to raise his cultivation. He had continued to sign in at the spring of heavenly tree sap and recieved a multitude of rewards. Although he had recieved alot of rewards they were all only good for increasing his cultivation base or increase his cultivation aptitude. These items included things such as marrow cleansing pills, qi gathering pills, or breakthrough pills.
" I can use the breakthrough pills to assist me when I'm ready to break through to the core formation stage. I've already used multiple marrow cleansing pills and that was not a fun time. I was shitting out my ass for the entire day. Though it did in crease my body's aptitude for cultivation by a landslide. Why is the side effects so horrible? I'm already at the peak of qi refinement realm I think I should take this time to breakthrough to core formation afterwards I think I should have enough strength to venture around the fog without dying." Ryujin collected his thoughts as he took out a breakthrough pill. Swallowing the pill he closed his eyes and began to break through to the core formation realm.
Days later Ryujin opened his eyes. It had taken him a total of five days to break through to the core formation stage. During his break through he had used up all of his resources as well as the accumulative of 300 years of cultivation.
Standing up Ryujin headed towards the barrier that separates the immortal forest and the sacred heavens tree.
" Ok time to explore more of this forest and see if I cant get me something other than tree sap to eat." and with that Ryujin crossed the barrier.
"System sign in."

"This will differently help me greatly in surviving this extremely dangerous forest. Ok time to retreat back in first and practice this technique then I will come back out. Meat can wait for another day." And the very first excursion into the Immortal forest ended just like that.
Returning back to the Sacred Heavens tree's barrier Ryujin retrieved the Heaven severing sword technique from the system storage.

"ok I have a sword technique, now I just need a sword." looking around the area Ryujin saw a patch of baamboo. Walking over to the bamboo patch Ryujin broke off a peice of bamboo the size of a nodachi.
"Just right, it shouldn't be a big deal what I use if I can reach the first stage the the heaven severing sword technique."
Ryujin swung the bamboo stick around practicing a few moves.
"Complete mastery of the first stage allows one to infuse sword ki into any object turning it into something equivalent to a sword. the strength of the sword ki is based on the cultivator's own cultivation base.
Alright then I shouldn't have a problem with
cutting through steel with a sword ki powered by core formation cultivation realm."
Ryujin kept practicing the first stage of the Heaven severing sword technique as he went over the technique in his head.
During the next few days Ryujin continued the same routine over and over. He would swing the bamboo stick as if it was a sword while infusing qi into it imagining the bamboo stick becoming a sword. He would only stop to sign in, when he ran out of qi or to grab a few gulps of tree sap to stave off hunger.
"shing, shing. shing"
If someone was passing by the area they would have been able to heard the sound that a sword makes when its cutting through the wind. These sounds were being produced by a bamboo stick. If anyone were to see this they would be absolutely shocked.
After another few days of of training in the barrier area of the Sacred heavens tree Ryujin had gained initial mastery of the first stage. With that he could infuse sword ki into the bamboo turning it into a sword, but he had to keep it active all the times. Once he gains complete mastery he would be able to only have to activate the sword ki when he is swinging or stabbing with the bamboo stick. Normally it takes a long time and a lot of talent to even gain initial mastery of sword ki. Ryujin however ate a ton of enlightenment pills that he gained from signing in multiple times in the past few days. This allowed Ryujin to shorten years of training into a few days.
