Little Taotie reached out like performing a mime, trying to find a gap.
Helen asked in confusion, "What are you doing?"

They looked at Helen, not understanding why she could ignore the barrier and reach through.

She assumed there was no glass here and everyone was joking with her, pretending to touch glass.
