It is with a heartbreak and sadness to say that as a fellow Jamaican citizen, as a writer and member of the webnovel and Alternate History family my country has been wrought and devastated by hurricane Melissa, my friends and family have been left homeless, a majority of the island is without water and proper utilities, roads remain impassable all the food that was stockpiled for this disaster has perished in the offset of the storm, people have perished in their homes drowned because of flooding and collapsed buildings, and I come to you all on my knees pleading and begging you my fellow Alt history family, I plead with you with tears in my eyes , I plead with you for your assistance. I beg for any donations no matter how small, so we can assist in getting food and bottled water as it is our main priority as food prices have skyrocketed in the last few days due to its shortage in the western parts of the country, so for many of us who still haven't eaten a proper meal in days we are looking to provide decent meals and a steady source of water to those of us in need.
