Lind had expected to find devastated areas but oddly, almost everywhere was quite fine. Better, in fact, than when he had observed the cities previously. It was as if the monkeys and apes had awakened to greater wisdom with Sun's ascension.
He knew True Lords could invigorate a race but the stark difference was more exaggerated with them.
Karu and Gaia were happily learning new things from many of them but Lind was more interested in the Fiend's former centers of power. He wanted to check some things while he could safely.
Sun had looked awkward and that was when he saw a few buildings that were razed to the ground. The traces left behind gave Lind the shivers. What mystified him the most was that they were in the middle of some of the cities and villages but the buildings on either side were totally intact.
He looked at Sun who seemed to want to crawl into a hole.
