Xun'er, holding Kurumi's hand tightly, looked confused. When had she ever met this person?
Her brows furrowed as she tried to recall him. "Who are you?"
Huo Ao smiled wickedly, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Huo Ao, a one-star Dou Wang, young master of the Yan Clan. Most importantly, I am your future fiancé."
Hearing this, Xiao Yan's face twisted in rage. He felt as if a giant hand was squeezing his heart, making it hard to breathe.
"Xiao Yan, calm down!" Yao Lao's voice echoed in his mind. "Stay calm, he won't harm those two girls!"
"But..." Xiao Yan began to protest.
"No buts, there are two Dou Huangs in the clouds and possibly stronger experts hiding in the shadows!" Yao Lao warned.
Xiao Yan's heartbeat quickened. Dou Huangs? And stronger experts? The opponent's overwhelming power calmed him down. Holding his injured body, he cautiously observed the situation.
Xun'er's face changed, "You must be mistaken. I have no fiancé."
"How could I be wrong? I've already visited Uncle Gu," Huo Ao insisted.
Xun'er's heart sank. She understood her potential was nothing compared to her sister's. The clan's records still held outdated information about her. The council, driven by interests, might want to marry her for an alliance.
She looked at Kurumi, her eyes full of confusion. Reaching Dou Wang at this age undoubtedly marked him as someone from an ancient clan. The flame emblem on his forehead was genuine...
Xun'er's subtle actions didn't escape Huo Ao's notice. With the girl here, where could she run?
Huo Ao smiled warmly, "This must be Xun'er's sister?"
Kurumi nodded, her expression cold, showing no desire to converse further.

Huo Ao was startled. He had only guessed, and those in the Gu Clan who called him brother were not true allies. He had never heard of this girl before...

Huo Ao was shocked. The unknown age hinted she might be an ancient monster.

"What if I don't agree?" Kurumi asked.
Huo Ao's face tensed, and he re-entered the system space. "System, what's her identity? I paid for information, tell me clearly!"
