Chapter 363 - The heaven and the hell

"How can you be so cold? You can't lie to Sienna like this!"Shocked, Bran stared at Sarcos.

"What? Do you want her to be sad?"Sarcos grinned cruelly.

"No," Bran shook his head.

"So what will you tell her?"Sarcos asked seriously.

"Nothing," Bran bit his lips...

"Silly Eagle, you are."Sarcos chuckled."I was thinking you know me better."

"What?"Bran furrowed his brows.

"Help me put them into Magnus's bedroom. You pick the woman, and I take Magnus."Sarcos ordered.

"For what?"Why would you keep the dead bodies for?"Bran wondered.

"I did not kill them. Sienna forgave them." Sarcos chuckled."I gave them just my new body paralysing sleeping potion. I wanted to see if Magnus would stop plotting and to test it." he nodded with the eyes of the mad scientist.

"You were testing your potion on them?"Bran asked in surprise.

"Yes, they were ready to die anyway, so they both consented."Sarcos grinned."Old people are weaker than young ones, so it helps me to correct the dosage better. Now I need to see how long they would take to wake up," he noted coldly.

"I can't believe it. You are so sneaky, Scorpion King."Bran shook his head as he carried motionless Odeia. She looked dead but was not getting cold." Sarcos is such an actor!" he thought.

They put them both on the bed in Magnus' room and left.

When Magnus suddenly awoke. Odeia was already looking at him, holding his head."I live, and you live too."She smiled gently.

"We need to run!"Magnus held her hand, but just then the Scorpion King and Tyrell entered the room.

"Please, let her live!"Magnus threw himself under Sarcos's feet." I can offer my life for her."He begged.

"No need. You are free under new conditions."Sarcos said seriously. "The Queen forgave you. She said that love is the most beautiful feeling, which can bend the law and forgive even the grave mistakes.

"Does that mean I can be with Odeia?"Magnus asked in disbelief.

"If I accept you, you have not asked me yet."Odeia smiled a little cheekily.

"Will you accept me?" Magnus turned to her in expectation.

"Yes, you are the only one I wanted all these years."She hugged him tightly.

"You are free to live in your house in the City and have a week off to catch up on your private life. "Tyrell noted. He was happy for Magnus, but his heart hurted by his betrayal.

"Thank you, King Sarcos and King Tyrell, for giving me my love and life back," he bowed respectfully.

"The Queen did that. I will give her your thanks."Sarcos nodded coldly.

"You could just ask for help."Tyrell sighed."Do not keep problems to yourself in the future, "he noted and showed Magnus to leave with a wave of his hand.

"Thank you."Magnus nodded and left the castle with Odeia for the house he bought for her more than a few decades ago.

Meanwhile, Marco came to check his Eagle Mountains. His city was almost done, the Forum, the market and houses were all in the final decorating stages.

Marco had to say his Eagles were so excited to have females with them, that they worked relentlessly, happy to start a new chapter in their history under their new good hero King.

Marco inspected the new buildings and looked satisfied. He had a meeting with a few of his advisers and gave them instructions. Then he just went back to Dragon Lands to deliver Sarcos's healing potion to Thunder.

The Dragon King was still in his bed with his new companion... a high fever! It was the first time he got seriously sick in his life, and he did not enjoy this vulnerable state at all! Normally, he had a very quick recovery time, and this caught him unprepared. He was also too embarrassed, so he did not call anyone to help him out, and when the fever came, he was stuck in bed by himself!

After a long flight, the strong Eagle King just stramed in confidently through the open window. He changed into his human form and stared at the sick Dragon King in disbelief. The wounds on his body were bloodied and infected; he looked more like a carcass than a man. The image of falling Sienna blinked in Marco's mind, and he felt like finishing him off permanently. But Sarcos wanted the heart of this creature alive, for some weird reason, so Marco decided to follow his orders. He knew Sarcos must have a good reason, and he trusted him. "I'm playing doctor again!"Marco grinned uncomfortably, standing over Thunder.

The Dragon King felt his presence and opened his golden eyes slowly. He was staring at the eagle like on a mirage and blinked.

"Ahhh, you look even worse than when I left ."Marco shook his head, quite satisfied with his work.

"King Marco!"Thunder tried to sit up on his bed but could not.

"Come here and drink up, I got you medicine from King Sarcos."Marco leaned towards Thunder. He grasped his head and forced the liquid from the little brown crystal bottle down his throat.

"Are you trying to poison me?" Thunder growled hardly.

"Of course not! We are almost family. So, your well-being is our concern."Marco said coldly.

Thunder suddenly felt his fever subside, and his mind became clearer."So it was a medicine."He breathed out in relief. But then his whole body was like on itching on burning fire. He was a dragon; he did not mind the fire, but this felt as if every vein in his body was bulging and stretching, itching and hurting at the same time. He roared in frustration, but he could not move at all; he felt as paralysed and only the pain was eating him alive...

Marco watched as the bloody wounds started to close in front of his eyes, and meat was growing under the closed flesh. Thunder looked in so much pain, but he was getting better for sure.

"He will look like new!"Marco growled with displeasure in his mind."All my work in butchering him is lost," he noted to himself, dissatisfied.

"I'm sure it hurts, but you will be fine soon. "Marco said to Thunder coldly ."We can continue our duel."He nodded and screeched out of the window...

Thunder did not hear or see him. He wished to die because the pain was overbearing...The dragon suffered for a day and night, but as the sun appeared over the horizon, the pain suddenly halted. Thunder lifted his hand, and it sprang up. He stood up carefully, but he felt full of energy suddenly...He furrowed his brows and went to check himself in the mirror. All his injuries were gone! Thunder chuckled and went out to hunt. He killed a dear, ate and felt good with the world..." Ha..silly King Sarcos...so full of himself, now I can continue my Dragon War." Thunder chuckled and flew back to his castle. He whistled for his messenger, and soon a rustle of wings came to the window.

"Ready my armies."Thunder just called out of a window, but the rustle was still there, so he furrowed his brows and went to check...

"King Marco? "Thunder asked, surprised...He was thinking that Eagle had returned home already."What are you doing here?" he asked, surprised.

"Well, we have a duel to continue. What made you think that I will let you war on others? "Marco asked coldly.

Thunder looked at the enraged Eagle and did not feel like being beaten again..." I will call my guards if you attack me. We will see how you can fight more dragons at once," he chuckled.

"Are you scared?" the Eagle hissed.

"Can you take on ten dragons?"Thunder grinned.

"Easily," said Marco," Butchery is my hobby, even hundred, but I will kill them if they dare to fight me," he said coldly." Sarcos asked me only not to kill you, "the eagle screeched.

Thunder did not want to have his dragons killed for nothing. He knew Marco was not bluffing.

"Maybe I can level up a bit with Marco," he thought and rather flew out in his dragon form to meet his opponent.

Marco attacked him roughly, slicing under his scaly armour with his razor-sharp claws. Thunder tried to dodge, but the Eagle was so fast, streaming from the clouds in and out around him, he got lost in pain and fear. He could not even level up from this because Marco was not really fighting; he was simply butchering him in the air! The Eagle shredded his scaly skin from his back completely. The flesh and blood filled the air." Please, stop, Marco, I lost, "the dragon begged. He was cursing his human form to cause him so much suffering and heartbreak, and had had enough. He thought about Sienna and felt like he did not want to die till he mended his relationship with her.

Marco was taking strips of meat from his back and throwing them coldly into the air."How much Darren's love begged you, "How much the gold-haired females begged you! One strip of your meat for each till your mistakes are fixed."Said Marco coldly.

Thunder lay in the pool of blood again, and Marco left. "I will bring you more medicine before our next duel," he screeched mockingly....and Thunder realised he is in for a life of hell!
