Rena Riley's nerves were on edge as she touched down despite the reassuring words Allison had said to her while they were on final approach to the landing pad.

In all likelihood, you are going to be commended for your efforts or given details of a special assignment. Zeph received a few of them even while he was a student at the academy."
"So I am not in trouble?" Rena asked with a worried and pleading look on her face as she removed her helmet and continued to go through the shutdown procedures.
"If you were it would be left up to your squad's assigned instructor to reprimand you unless it was for something serious. In that case, I would be involved, and he would still ultimately be the one to punish you as the highest-ranking member of the Black Badge Division currently assigned to this territory."
