Two curved, jagged horns sprouted from their heads, arching back over their skulls. From their lower backs, a long, thin tail whipped through the air, reaching five meters in length. It was incredibly agile and flexible, flickering with a rhythmic, hypnotic motion that gave me the distinct impression of a snake grafted onto a wolf's body.
But the most lethal upgrades were the claws. A standard werewolf had five thin, slightly curved, razor-sharp claws designed to tear flesh. My new hybrids had discarded that design for something far more industrial. Instead of being thin, each claw had thickened until it was at least the width of two human fingers.
