Nancy Sutton felt that Liam Quincy had really thought of everything, and her emotions were very complicated at the moment. With his thoughtfulness, she really doesn't know how to refuse anymore.
The old lady seemed to notice the atmosphere between the two of them and could see that her granddaughter was a bit embarrassed. So, she stepped in to break the awkwardness between them.
"Alright, alright, let's hurry up and eat, or the food will get cold, and it won't taste good."
The two kids heard her words and immediately went to their mother's side, each taking one of Nancy's hands, and then led her to sit at the head of the dining table.
"Mom, hurry and eat. After you finish, we have a gift for you."
The two children also prepared a gift for their mother, but they wanted to reveal their surprise later.
Nancy obediently followed the children's lead, sitting beside them, then blew out the birthday candles and made a wish.
