After the meeting ended, Joy Sutton felt quite indignant and blocked Nancy Sutton's path, questioning her.
"Why are you treating me like this?"
Nancy Sutton sneered coldly and replied.
"You're just reaping what you've sown. Do you still expect others to cover for the mistakes you've made in the past?"
Joy Sutton gritted her teeth, stepped forward, and raised her hand, intending to slap Nancy hard across the face.
Nancy wasn't one to be trifled with. She immediately sensed Joy's move, sidestepped, and evaded the attack.
Then, with a flash in her eyes, Nancy raised her hand and slapped Joy, with quite some force.
Joy staggered back a few steps, covering her cheek that was burning red, glaring at Nancy fiercely.
"How dare you hit me!?"
Nancy let out a sneer.
"Why shouldn't I? You were the one who tried to start it. I'm just giving you a taste of your own medicine."
"And it's not over yet; I haven't told everyone about your affair with Dylan Shaw."
