After Bianca fell asleep, Nancy finally couldn't hold back her emotions any longer. She turned her head, and tears streamed down, overflowing from her eyes. Seeing this, Liam quickly walked over.
"What's wrong?"
He kept his voice very low, afraid of waking Bianca.
Nancy reached out to hug Liam, burying her face in his chest, and started to sob softly, speaking in broken sentences.
"If Bianca really gets kidnapped, what should I do..."
Liam profoundly understood Nancy's feelings as a mother. He raised his hand and gently touched the top of Robin's head.
He softly consoled her for a few moments.
"Don't cry. I'll arrange for a dozen bodyguards to watch over the ward right away, and this kind of thing will never happen again."
Nancy's tears kept falling, soaking a large part of Liam's shirt front.
Suddenly feeling a bit embarrassed, Nancy said.
"I can't stop my tears."
