Jasper and the Thorn Forest warriors burst through the front door just as I made it to the first floor. Jasper nodded to me, and we jumped into the fight with Oliver and his warriors.
Varge was pinned under Oliver, his eyes wide as he saw me approaching. I licked my jowls and growled, stalking closer to him.
“Enough!” Varge jumped up and tore his shirt in two. He growled and shifted into his monstrous, misshapen wolf form. He let out a maniacal, wild howl, his eyes bright and dangerous.
‘Don’t let him escape!’ Oliver ordered.
Jasper, I, and the rest of the warriors around me shifted and started closing in on Varge.
‘Drive him outside.’
Eva rose into the air, her eyes white hot. Wind whipped around her and spun around Varge like a tornado. He roared and swatted at the vortex with his paws. It was no use.
Eva directed the tornado, pushing Varge outside. Oliver and his warriors followed and the fight moved outside.
