The Innkeeper ignored the Mentholians that were rolling around on the table in front of him. Instead, his focus was on the small piece of budding Heaven that the turtle was building.
The fact that the Gardener seemed to be spontaneously changing his race was not the issue that was bothering the turtle, though Lex didn't know how to feel about that.
The Gardener was one of the earliest workers he hired, back when his naming sense was… not quite up to his current standards. For him to suddenly become an Angel just felt… well okay he had no strong feelings about it as long as the Gardener himself did not mind.
Lex took stock of the Heaven. There were a few Deity bushes, providing Divine energy to the Heaven, while many of the Heavenly trees were also growing.
