Lex sat down exactly where he stood, while the thirteen statues got to work, preparing the environment for Lex to receive the inheritance. Only the statue of Mother Nuwa remained still, mostly because she was unable to move at all. Though the statue was at the Dao Lord level, the burden of Nuwa's inheritances made it so that she would never be able to move - not unless she became much stronger. That was kind of difficult since she herself did not actually have access to those inheritances to cultivate.
The thirteen statues formed a wide circle around Lex, and began to prepare the environment. They were inside the most central and secure part of the Temple, and yet as they joined hands the room was enveloped in another barrier. However, instead of protecting or hiding the room they were in, they seemed to connect it to some other place entirely, as if just that room alone had now become a part of a different realm.
