Shireen looked at Lex slightly stunned. Part of it was because she was still reeling from the casual mention of the Primordial Queen, but a significant portion of her shock was due to the, quite frankly, amazing sales pitch that Lex gave her.
A part of her wanted to believe that Lex was exaggerating what he had said, but somehow it seemed impossible. Lex's own notable achievements - the ones she knew of - were themselves a testament to just how extraordinary he was. Since last meeting him, Shireen had done some research on the rest of the Midnight Inn as well, and had discovered a few others who seemed extraordinary as well.
If nothing else, just how common a time related bloodline was in the Midnight Inn was absurd.
