There was absolute silence in the room as the uncomfortable truth descended upon all.
The Crown Prince could not imagine his own children procreating with his mother. This was too much despite the clan having a history of incestous relationships.
"…mother… there is one thing I wish to know." The Princess broke the silence and turned to the Queen.
"What is it?"
"What exactly is our clan's goal? Why do we exist? What is our purpose? Surely the Upper Realm did not send the founding father to just have children and continued the Asura bloodline, right?" The Princess asked.
The Queen nodded her head. "Every generation's heir is taught the true purpose which the founding father left behind. In our case, His Majesty knows of it. However, before he could teach it to your brother, he went away and hasn't returned since."
The Princess clutched her forehead while the Crown Prince rubbed his temples.
