Hope glanced at Emily for the billionth time from the rearview mirror with a frown on her face. She clenched her fists on the steering wheel and bit her bottom lip as she thought, 'Why did she have to come too?'
Emily met her eyes and smiled, "No matter how many times you glance at me, I won't suddenly disappear you know."
Hope averted her gaze and temporarily returned it to the road in front of her before diverting it again to look at Blake who was staring blankly through the window. She swooned, 'I can't believe he and I will be living together.'
Hope was about to get lost in her fantasies as she stared at the handsome man beside her, but a hand came from behind and forced her head back in the direction of the road.
"Stop staring at him like a lovesick puppy and focus on the road," Emily commanded. She regretted her decision of tagging along, 'I shouldn't have come and let the both of them die in a car accident, and somehow convince Steve to go with them.'
