The following day at FIBSAM ENTERPRISES
Phoebe asked assistant Leon to set an interview for the assistant of the CEO position since the latter hi handed her his resignation letter with reasons that is only known to him. Even though he gave her a reasonable reason for him wanting to resign from his position and leave the company, she could tell that wasn't all the reason but she didn't force him to tell her the truth nor she show any reaction for him to see that she has already seen through him. So she maintained her poker face and left for her office after giving him all the necessary instructions.
Actually today has been other uneventful day because all she did was attend meetings here and there. After getting inside her office, she slammed herself onto the couch in her office before walking to her desk after resting for 10 minutes to continue the day's work. As she was going through the pile of files on her desk, her hawk like eyes caught sight of a black folder on her table. she took it and was surprised to see it was someone's resume after opening it.
Without even wasting her time to go through the files in the folder, she called assistant Leon through the intercom on her desk with face void of any emotion at the thought of her assistant helping someone through the backdoor. Assistant Leon rushed towards the office of his boss after receiving the call from his boss. Actually he knew the reason why his boss was calling him into her office. He was already prepared to face the consequences of his actions the moment he decided to help his friend attain the position of assistant of the CEO when he resign by placing the resume of his friend on the table of the Lady Boss even without the knowledge of his friend.
He actually got to know from his sister that his friend has sent out application letters to various companies for employment and he also knew that his friend didn't tell him about it because he wanted to get the job with his qualifications and not because someone helped him through the backdoor. When he got to the door leading to the CEO's office, he came out of his reverie and knocked on the door. After receiving the answer "come in", he walked into the office.
"Who with audacity came to place someone's resume on my desk and not the HR department. huh??" she asked him the moment she saw the door to her office open. "Boss actually I can explain why I did it" he replied hastily because he was afraid for his dear life since he could feel the temperature of the room decrease to the lowest degree. He already knew that he wouldn't be spared by his boss if he were to make the slightest bit of mistake. "I already know it was you who brought it since apart from you nobody else has access to my office so you better start explaining and give a good reason for your actions" came her reply.
