Guantang Villa
Tang Wan recently felt her body getting heavier. Perhaps it was the languor of the summer afternoons, and she only woke up by evening. When she got up, she saw Jiang Jinsang staring at his phone, seemingly waiting for a call.
"Is there something important?" Tang Wan propped herself up, leaning against the headboard.
"Nothing really, are you thirsty? I'll get you a glass of water."
"I'm a bit hungry." Tang Wan smiled at him.
So Jiang Jinsang made some food for her. She took a couple of casual bites with her chopsticks but left the rest for Jiang Jinsang to finish. Perhaps it was his natural physique that allowed him to maintain the same nutritional intake as Tang Wan, as her belly grew larger while he remained unchanged.
"Looks like it's going to rain." Tang Wan walked to the window.
The dark clouds gathered in the sky, and a cool breeze suddenly rose.
