"Sorry, I don't know how I should address you, but you can ignore that because I didn't mean anything by it..."
"What do you want to say?"
Christine Quinn crinkled her nose, suppressing the sourness, and apologetically said, "I just want to say 'I'm sorry' for the last time..."
Skyler Jones frowned with disgust, "Are you feeling very proud right now?"
He said he never cared about her, but from this alone, it was clear he had lied to her in the past. And her questioning now seemed more like a challenge to his dignity.
