Mrs. Geoffrey nodded repeatedly, "Yes, I asked Aunt May to serve..."
Rebecca Quentin volunteered to stand up, "I'll go!"
Mrs. Geoffrey couldn't respond in time; Rebecca Quentin was already heading to the kitchen, so she only reminded, "Be careful not to burn yourself..."
Howard Geoffrey got up to follow her into the kitchen, but Mrs. Geoffrey spoke out with a smile, "Don't worry about your wife, Aunt May has already gone to help her."
Howard Geoffrey pulled his lips into a smile, looking at his mother.
Mrs. Geoffrey furrowed her brows and spoke with a warning tone, "You better take good care of your wife. You left Becca after getting married; I see Becca hasn't made a fuss about it, so I won't hold this against you... but if you upset Becca, I'll definitely take her side."
Howard Geoffrey raised his hands, indicating surrender.
Mrs. Geoffrey smiled with satisfaction, and at that moment, Rebecca Quentin came out from the kitchen carrying a bowl of soup.
