Becca adjusted Geoffrey's shirt collar and mumbled, "People should be simple. Being as deep as you are, do you think you're happy?"
Geoffrey shook his head, "If I could choose, I'd rather live an ordinary life."
Becca sighed, "But life isn't about choosing, just like meeting you wasn't a choice for me."
Geoffrey pulled Becca closer, teasing, "What, meeting me put you in a tough spot?"
Becca playfully punched Geoffrey's chest with a small fist, "Who told you to bully me like that before..."
Geoffrey gently kissed Becca's brow, "How about I let you bully me back in the future?"
Becca wrinkled her nose disdainfully, "I'm not as bad as you."
Geoffrey smiled, "I'm afraid you couldn't bear to!"
"Vain!"
In that moment, Geoffrey held Becca tightly in his arms.
Becca leaned against Geoffrey's chest, inhaling his unique and subtly cologne-scented fragrance. She closed her eyes and hugged him tightly.
