After Mrs. Geoffrey left, Rebecca Quentin belatedly realized that Mrs. Geoffrey might have misunderstood that they would return to their room right after dinner... for that.

As Rebecca was awkwardly thinking about this, Howard Geoffrey's calm voice came through, "Mom, I have something to discuss with you."
"Oh, what is it?"
Howard took Rebecca's hand, holding it tightly, and said earnestly, "I'm planning to register with Becca in the next couple of days."
When Howard decided on registering without consulting Rebecca, she suddenly lifted her eyes, looking at Howard in disbelief.
Mrs. Geoffrey's body froze slightly. After a few seconds of silence, she replied, "Since you've decided, then go ahead. There are a few good dates in the first half of the year, suitable for a wedding banquet."
