"Becca." Howard finally noticed her, and called out hoarsely.
Rebecca Quentin wanted to smile at Howard, but tears were already spilling from her eyes as she walked towards him, suddenly feeling weak.
Fortunately, Howard stood up just in time to support Rebecca Quentin.
Rebecca Quentin immediately collapsed into Howard's arms.
"What's wrong, are you feeling unwell?" Howard asked her with a face full of concern.
Rebecca Quentin shook her head, raising her tear-filled eyes to look deeply at Howard.
"Why are you crying again?" Howard tenderly wiped away the tears at the corners of Rebecca's eyes.
Rebecca Quentin slowly smiled, and her luminous smile faintly radiated a gentle and serene glow, making him momentarily lost in thought.
Howard supported Rebecca Quentin to sit down by the crib, squatting in front of her, their eyes meeting at the same level. He held her hand gently, and asked softly, "Are you feeling discomfort because of the pregnancy?"
"No."
