For this evening really was not how he expected it to go... and his early access solution was no solution to something like this at all.
Making him reconsider not going to these premieres in the near future. Or maybe he'll just take some other drastic measures to not be disturbed as much.
A few should be okay but any more would warrant aversion fueled by his own introversion.
Alas, those were considerations for the future... since at present, the worst is yet to come...
And as if on cue as always... another man in a suit approached, someone more executive.
In the form of Michael Eisner.
The one that he was most familiar with among the shady folks that mingled about here.
"So, what brings you here, Mr. Eisner?" Alexander initiated on a rarity, even when he was running on fumes. "The last time we convened at a movie premiere wasn't exactly that pleasant for me. Especially when your company had just tried to sue Hobbes."
"Well, if you must know, Zemeckis invited me and if my memory serves me well, didn't we drop that misunderstanding of ours?" Eisner smilingly engaged. "In good fate. I decided that Tigger is Tigger and Hobbes is an entirely different tiger."
"Of course, after doing so, didn't I ask for a favor from you?" The Disney man then reminded and even reminisced. "I remember you saying that we'll talk about it more at another time and location. After all, you said finalizing a deal in a rowdy film premiere seems ill-conceived."
"Stuff happened." Alexander said whilst shrugging in a non-committal way. Mirroring how he didn't commit to anything he'd said during that last Back to the Future premiere.
It was a meeting built on shady coughs and smiles, after all.
And from that point, he really made other stuff happen... like the dismantling of the so-called Anti-Creed Alliance and a bunch of other moves that should have irked this man in some shape or form.
Eisner currently seemed collected, however. Even saying that. "Oh, I understand completely since it's clear that you have been very busy. It isn't easy to have another box office champion within another year and then enter the video game industry right after. Then again, it must have been made harder to dominate at those like you did."
"Which is why it was such a surprise that you really still had the energy to enter into animation as well." The collected man's curved lips actually ticked a bit when saying that...
But then he added. "Had you worked with us on that front, then some matters could have been made smoother for you. We of Disney are a dominant force when it comes to such media, after all."
"Maybe I just prefer being hands-on and personal with my projects." Alexander reasoned. "It just allows for more control, in my opinion. While most partners are just hassles."
"But I would still suggest that you stock up on as much partners and collaborators as you can." Eisner advised. "And I can represent Disney to be one of them."
"Starting with a movie that we can both pool our resources on like the Roger Rabbit adaptation that we are banking on." To smooth things out some more, the man supplemented. "We also already have Zemeckis and Lloyd on board, who should be familiar collaborators that will make our cooperation much easier to swallow."
To that spiel, Alexander simply asked. "But... why should I?"
As good as the prospects of that Roger Rabbit movie is, he really saw no need to entangle himself with this shady dude and Disney.
And why does this guy even think that that innovative director and the kooky character actor had sway on him?
Which is why he just rejected by saying. "Sorry to be blunt but I'm really not that interested."
Which should have been what he said at the last premiere, so that this dude not haunt him here, perhaps in response to years of being ghosted.
Michael Eisner didn't seem that fazed by the rejection, however. And even haughtily asked. "Are you sure you don't want to work with us? Because it's already being gracious of me to offer this kind of deal with you."
Alexander could only stare a bit more coldly at the man. A bit baffled by the audacity.
Said man was unperturbed and just explained. "I'm not so sure if you've noticed already but your Creed is actually in a precarious situation. Ready to be besieged and attacked at all sides."
"You and your grandfather's decisions have crossed some lines that many of the major players do not like. And from now on, you won't be able to do as you please."
"Comparatively speaking, I'm actually someone that got here to a proper invite... unlike some others." The man hinted and then just directly pointed out. "Take those men who are currently approaching your grandfather for example... who sneaked right in and don't exactly have diplomatic intentions as I do."
As he said so... Alexander also noticed that those undesirables were actually closing in on Old Sullivan already...
Very confrontationally so.
And at that point, he couldn't care less of whatever the Disney dude had to say, nor did he care to even entertain any other interferer.
---------------
Fortunately, by the time he got near where they had gathered against his grandfather... nothing violent of that sort had taken place.
After all, the old man is already past 60, and although the man was active and hearty for someone his age... those old bones may not be able to handle any scuffle.
At the very least, this duo taking charge of the charge seemed to actually just want to talk it out and let out some threats. Especially when one of them looked much older than even ye old Sullivan.
Either way, that didn't actually lessen any animosity Alexander had towards these gang-grouping executive thugs.
Coupled with the annoyances of earlier and the general feelings of dislike that he had 'cummulated against Eisner... he was now extra extra cold with his emotionless stare being very chilling...
And just as the square-glasses-wearing exec could even let a word out, he was actually spooked by a young boy who just appeared by Creed's side.
Of course, he was able to compose himself, to then say. "This is a conversation between adults, little man. Away is where you should go now."
Old Sullivan, also realizing his grandson's presence, just chuckled at that shooing...
While Alexander just asked. "Are you, Sidney Sheinberg, by any chance?"
"Uhmm..." A bit disturbed by that question, Sheinberg of Universal still answered. "Why yes, I am..."
Of course, the much older gentleman, also with square but tinted glasses, didn't care for any of these and just chastised. "Stop with the dallying, Sid."
"Just go on with letting this Creed fellow that were suing him to bankruptcy... and his fate will now be much worse than just being forced to waste away in pornography like he had been." The older man didn't even sugarcoat his threat as if finalizing those that will happen eventually.
However, it was still the little boy who reacted to him, staring up at him and saying. "Then that makes you Lew Wasserman or whatever."
"Show some respect to the elderly, little boy." Lew chastised again. "What is a runt like you even meddling around here? This can't be your young one, right, Creed? Cause he lets out the same disrespect that you have given us for about three years now..."
"Do you want me to discipline him for you... just as how we've disciplined you before... or do you want it to be like how I'm going to be breaking you down from here on out?" The old man grinned, acting quite unlike the nice elderly face he had going for him.
Sullivan Creed still ignored him, however, and was actually looking quite expectant to whatever the boy beside him was about to do.
A reaction that confused both the masterminds behind the giant that is Universal.
Just what exactly was going on here?
"Well... given that you two don't actually have a full grasp of things... it would seem that you're not prepared as much to even know who I am." Alexander spoke out the obvious.
"And should that even concern us?" Sheinberg asked out, feeling more weirded out than earlier. Wondering... who really was this kid?
"Well, given that you're alluding to wanting to destroy Creed businesses... shouldn't you even get an idea of who is mostly in charge of it?" Alexander then added. "Cause that would be me."
Sheinberg actually took a few steps back to process all that... and even Wasserman's eyes narrowed. Due to the incredulity of it all.
But the boy still continued. "If you must know... I'm actually Alexander Creed or Alex Creed in some instances... like the screenwriter behind movies such as this one you just intruded on to watch."
Fucking hell! The duo coinciding-ly thought. For this one was actually the golden writer that they were envious of.
"Other than that... I'm also a comic book creator, a toy maker, an animation show producer, partly a musician, then a game console designer, a video game developer, and the little boss that mostly runs the businesses that operate on all of those."
What the fucking hell is this kid even from? Sheinberg freaked. While Wasserman was more on why did their team not even clock in on this?!
"I'm not spelling those out to brag or anything... I'm only saying because those should really concern the two of you." Alexander reasoned that. "This world operates on duality, after all. And if I'm already this prolific when it comes to building things up... how do you think I'll fare when it comes to breaking things down?"
Sheinberg actually churned his mind at that threat... but to help him out, Alexander just said. "Losing that Donkey Kong lawsuit must have been hard on you already, mister... but maybe a gorilla kidnapping your wife and barreling down on you would not be your only nightmare..."
"As for you, elderly Mr. Wasserman, who I genuinely don't want to show respect for... I'll be sure to break your prized MCA Universal to pieces just as you threatened to do to us."
Lew Wasserman actually wanted to show retort... but then, the boy cut him off. "Keep in mind that I'm actually just 12 years old at the moment... and by the time your feet are officially down in your grave... I'd be at my prime and your legacy as a great Hollywood mogul will be at my mercy by then."
At that point, the duo was just too stunned for words and the other unnamed annoyances that lagged behind them were stalled in their reactions as well.
Cause what manner of demons are they actually trying to antagonize?
For these Creeds that they were currently looking at were really just far from normal...
The old one was just grinning excitedly at this juncture, while the little one was far worse... staring at them with cold detachment... probably registering their faces into memory and already making good on the promises he let out.
Not just on Universal but to the ones they represented as well.
Suffice it to say, these Creeds were officially baring teeth to foes like them.
