It was very late, near midnight, and Clive was still nestled in Audrey's room, playing around with Leon Atkinson.
"Clive, it's time to sleep," she reminded.
"Mmm, you go to sleep first."
The bond between him and Leon Atkinson was incredibly strong. When Leon Atkinson saw Clive again a few days ago, he looked at him with such grievance, like a little dog abandoned by its owner for ages. And these past two days, whether there was anything happening or not, Leon Atkinson liked to stay close to him, even though it was Audrey who had been taking care of him and keeping him company all this year. Yet, Leon Atkinson was the closest to him.
Hmph, what a heartless serpent.
Audrey pursed her lips, lay down on the bed, and slept, reminding, "Close the door properly when you leave, so Leon Atkinson doesn't slip out early in the morning and scare the people on the island."
"Oh."
