When Ned arrived at the restaurant, Clement, Gem, Fred Andrews, Peter Andrews, and others were already there, warmly greeting each other with morning pleasantries.
Angela cheerfully jumped off her chair and pulled Ned to sit down, then pushed several plates and bowls in front of him.
"Ned brother, hurry, these are all my favorites, I saved them for you."
Ned patted the little girl's head and said, "Angela, you are the sweetest, treating me the best."

Ned spit out the porridge he was drinking with a "pfft."
Gem looked at him disapprovingly and said, "Wasting food, really... you'll make lunch."
