[May 20th, 2011]
(3rd Person: POV)
Smiles on their faces Norman and Otto stood in front of Oscorp Industries, shaking hands as numerous cameras flashed in front of them.
For today was the day Otto was going to put on his fusion reactor presentation, and the men were getting in some PR before it began in just another hour.
A few more minutes flashed before the flashes from the cameras stopped.
Once it did Norman and Otto dropped shaking hands. The former then stepped forward. "Well folks I hoped that satisfied your appetites for now. But if you'll excuse Doctor Octavious and I we need to go and prepare for the main dish." Norman spoke.
He then turned around and headed into Oscorp.
Otto following right behind him.
The reporters trying to follow them, only to utterly fail do to the security blocking their path.
As Norman and Otto walked through Oscorp they eventually arrived at the lab Otto and Rosalie had been using their time at the company.
"As always Norman, your showmanship never fails. Even back in college you could have anyone eating out of the palm of your hand." Octavious spoke.
Referring to the time he and Norman attended college together.
"Ah, how I've missed your dry wit Otto." Norman replied. "Anyway, is everything ready?"
"I'm slightly offended you even need to ask." Otto replied.
Only to earn him a flat look from Norman.
"I'm just making sure this demonstration goes off without a hitch. After all, it wouldn't do your work any good if it didn't." He spoke.
"Don't you mean it wouldn't do Oscorp any good if it didn't. Especially given your recent issues with all those superpowered individuals." Otto replied.
Leading Norman to tighten his jaw.
"Those incidents were not my doing Otto. They simply occured at my company. I'm not responsible for those men, nor their actions. As I've said many times before."
"Whatever you say Norman." Otto replied. "Also yes, everything is ready." He spoke.
"Good." Norman replied.
He then chose to leave the lab.
Once he did Otto began preparing for the upcoming demonstration in earnest.
In particular equipping himself with a set of powerful mechanical arms he had designed to help stabilize the fusion reactor.
Walking over to the arms a smile appeared on Otto's face.
"Time to change the world." He spoke.

Standing with Gwen and the others, Peter was at the front of the crowd in the room where the fusion reactor demonstration would take place.
Ready and waiting for it to begin.
For numerous reasons.
Until ten more minutes passed and it did.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen." Otto spoke.
Walking out in front of the crowd, wearing the harness containing the man's iconic four mechanical robot arms.
He and Rosalie then gave a few short words before staring their demonstration.
Where at first everything went fine, and Otto managed to create a stable sun.
Many, including Peter, applauding when this occured.
Since Peter found the site of such a thing entrancing.
Though that entrancement entirely vanished when the metallic objects in the room began being violently pulled towards the core of the reactor, and it started to become unstable.
Instantly triggering both Peter and Gwen Spider-sense.
"What's happening?" Ned asked.
"I don't know, but we should all leave right now." Gwen spoke.
"I agree. This shit isn't looking good at all." Felicia spoke.
So with that their small group made their way out of the room.
"Agh!!!"
Only for screams of panic to erupt a few seconds after they did.
Then once that occurred a crowd of people began running out of the demonstration room.
Leading Peter groupt to be split up as they got swept up in the crowd.
But that's exactly how he wanted it.

Back in the demonstration room Otto was continually struggling to stabilize the reaction, Rosalie by his side, a worried expression on her face.
That is until Norman burst into the room with several of his security personnel.
A furious expression on his face.
"Otto. Shut this down, now!" Norman shouted.
"No, it's okay. I can still stabilize it. I know I can." Otto shouted.
Then right after he did the core of her fusion reactor rapidly expanded, increasing the power of ids magnetic field.
Leading even heavier objects to start flying through the air towards the machine.
Including several crates.
Which ended up on a collision course with Norman and his guards.
But before then crates could touch any of them Peter appeared, in his original black and red costume, and webbed them all before they could touch Norman and his men.
But right after that one of the windows shattered and several shards of glass began racing towards Rosalie.
"No!" Otto shouted upon seeing this.
But he was unable to do anything.
Though before the shards could strike Otto wife Gwen, in her costume, appeared and moved the window out of the glass shards path.
Taking her immediately to the exit of the room. "Go! It's not safe!" She exclaimed.
"But my husband!" Rosalie began to protest.
"Will be fine." Gwen replied. "Me and Spider-Man will save him. I promise. But you being her does more harm than good. So go, now!" She repeated.
Rosalie then took a moment to look at Otto and then back at Gwen. "I'm trusting you with the love of my life."
"And I appreciate it." Gwen replied.
As she did Rosalie passed through the exit.
Meanwhile Peter looked Otto down.
"Your wife almost got killed a second ago. Osborn and his people almost got killed a second ago. You could do. So stop being stubborn and tell me how to shut this thing down." Peter spoke.
"The plugs on the wall." Otto instantly replied.
When he did Peter nodded.
He then turned his attention to the massive plugs and stared running towards them.
Seeing this Gwen followed along.
The two eventually reaching them, despite all the flying debris.
Once they did both of them webbed the plugs and began to pull with all their might.
Easily disabling the fusion reactor power source.
But just as they did a surge went the machine and traveled through Otto Octavious arms.
"Agh!!!" Leading to the man to cry out in pain as he was electrocuted.
Along with the control chip for his arms becoming damaged.
"No!" Both Peter and Gwen shouted as they turned around.
They then both webbed Otto and pulled him out of harms away.
Just as the machine shut down.
Laying Otto on the floor between them Gwen immediately felt for a heartbeat and found one.
When she did she looked at Peter. "He's still breathing."
Upon hearing this Peter turned to Norman and his guards. "Get medical in here now!" He shouted.
"You heard Spider-Man." Norman echoed.
His security personnel coming out of their dazes to follow their bosses orders.
No one yet aware of the changes occuring inside of Otto.
